# Resume Updates

> How to upload, update, and manage your resume on Serin before your interview.

Your resume helps Serin and the hiring organization understand your background. Keeping it accurate and up to date ensures you are evaluated on your most relevant experience.

# Uploading a Resume

### Supported formats

Upload your resume in a standard document format such as **PDF** or **DOCX**. If a file fails to upload, try exporting your resume as a PDF and uploading again.

### File size

Each resume file must be **10 MB or smaller**. If your file exceeds this limit, try compressing it or remove unnecessary content before uploading.

### Best practices

* Use a clear, readable layout with standard fonts
* Include relevant skills, projects, and work experience for the role
* Name your resume descriptively (e.g., "Software Engineer Resume") so you can identify it when applying to multiple jobs
* You can store up to **three resumes** (maximum **10 MB** each) on your Serin profile and choose which one to use per application.

# Updating a Resume

### Managing resumes in your profile

You can manage the resumes stored in your Serin profile at any time. Your profile can contain a maximum of **three resumes** simultaneously. There is no limit to how many times you can update resumes in your profile, provided you never exceed the three-resume limit.

### Choosing a resume for an application

When applying for a job, you must select one of the resumes stored in your profile. Review your selection carefully before submitting. Once your application is submitted, **the selected resume cannot be changed or resubmitted** for that application.

# Tips

* **Keep your resume current** — Make sure you submit your latest resume for an application.
* **Include relevant projects** — Highlight work that matches the job you are applying for.
* **Choose the right resume per job** — If you have multiple resumes on your profile, select the one most relevant to each role.

  You can store up to three resumes in your profile, with each resume limited to **10 MB**. Before submitting an application, carefully choose the resume you want to use, as it cannot be changed after submission.
